Speaker Bio:

Lieutenant General Pasquarette was commissioned as a second lieutenant armor officer in the U.S. Army upon his graduation from Furman University in 1983. His tactical assignments were in tank and cavalry units in West Germany, Fort Hood, Texas, Republic of Korea, Fort Stewart, Georgia and Fort Carson, Colorado.

At the operational level, LTG Pasquarette has served as a planner in US Army Central Command, US Army Forces Command Headquarters, and as the Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of US Army Pacific.

LTG Pasquarette’s strategic level assignments include five tours of duty in the Pentagon – four on the Army Staff and one on The Joint Staff.

LTG Pasquarette has commanded tank companies in 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas and 2nd Infantry Division in the Republic of Korea; a tank battalion at Fort Hood, Texas, an Armored Brigade Combat Team at Fort Hood, Texas and Iraq; and US Army Japan stationed at Camp Zama, Japan.

His awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal and Meritorious Service Medal. He has earned Master's degrees from Harvard University, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and the Army War College.

LTG Pasquarette assumed duties as the Deputy Chief of Staff, G8 on 10 Sep 2018. He and his wife, Liz, are the proud parents of three boys.
